Ghost of Tsushima presents four spectacular posters of the title in manga style, through collaboration with artist Takashi Okazaki, author of the famous Afro Samurai manga.
“We love what he did with Afro Samurai and we think his style lends itself perfectly to Ghost of Tsushima, so we are proud to announce that he has created four original pieces of art based on our game,” says Jason Connell, Creative and Director of Sucker Punch art.
Each piece shows a different part of Jin’s story: the wind that guides him, the flames that destroy his home around him, the mask he wears when he becomes the Ghost and his anger when he fights against the Mongols.
Ghost of Tsushima, developed by Sucker Punch Productions (authors of the Infamous saga), is the long-awaited open-world action-adventure video game whose story is inspired by the year 1274, in the invading wave from Mongolia to Japan. Its protagonist, Jin, was raised on the samurai path, but after the Mongol invasion, Jin faces the dilemma of changing his tactics and distancing himself from his master’s teachings. In this way, stealth and deception will be your best allies on a journey through the entire Tsushima region in search of the freedom of its people. It will arrive exclusively for PlayStation 4 on July 17.
