The various studios founded or purchased by Microsoft have been brought together under a single banner: the Xbox Game Studios. If each team works primarily on its own games, bringing together as many people with various qualifications can make you want to create a synergy between the different developers.
Today we have an example of this with The Coalition, the studio in charge of Gears 5. We learn via Adam Bodden’s profile on Linkedln that the level artist has worked on different games: Gears 5, Gears 5 DLC Hivebusters but also a title external to the studio: Halo Infinite. The artist intervened on the creation of the environment and on the different materials that we can see in play.
This is not the only member of The Coalition to have participated in the creation of the new adventures of the Master Chief: Hugo Gutierrez Mares, VFX Artist, also intervened in particular on the cutscenes and the campaign. The 343 Industries teams are therefore very strongly supported for the development of Halo Infinite, the Certain Affinity and Sperasoft teams have been working on the project for several months.
New information regarding Halo Infinite is expected to arrive this week as teams from 343 Industries have promised to share an “ Inside Infinite” every month. Halo Infinite is slated for fall 2021 and will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.
