In a French Xbox Wire post yesterday, the Xbox France teams reported that two technologies will be exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem: Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. These technologies, based on improving sound and image, were thus announced as exclusive for two years.
As the information spread via international media, the article disappeared last night from the French Xbox Wire site without any explanation. Today we learn through The Verge reporter Tom Warren that Microsoft has officially spoken.
"A blog post was mistakenly published by a local Xbox team that included inaccurate information regarding exclusivity of Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision on Xbox Series X|S. There is no exclusivity agreement of either tech on Xbox," says Microsoft.

According to Microsoft, the blog post was published in error and contained incorrect information regarding the exclusivity of the cited technologies. The Redmond company wants to make things clear: there is no agreement on the exclusivity of one or the other of these technologies on Xbox. An officialization that comes as we discover that Halo Infinite would be compatible with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
