Square Enix is getting ready for the premiere of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, but it will be the only great production in this series that will hit the market in the next several months. The corporation confirmed its plans at the meeting with investors, and at least for now – the Japanese will focus on new IPs.
The company intends to launch new brands on the market by March 31, 2022, and items from such series as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest will debut only after this time. This means that Final Fantasy XVI may not hit the market until the second half or even at the end of 2022.
The Japanese are, of course, preparing big premieres – among the new IPs should be Forspoken, which, according to rumors, is to hit the market in January 2022. Currently, however, Square Enix does not confirm such specific details.
Square Enix surprised at results by saying titles coming in period ending Mar 2022 will be focused on new IP titles (Outriders, Forspoken etc), that major IPs will come in the following years. So I think that means FF16,DQ12 etc will be April 2022 or later. Surprised #SquareEnix

This would be a great surprise, since there are very few details that have been revealed at the moment of Forspoken (we remember that the video game did not even have an official title until less than two months ago) and although its launch had been confirmed in 2022, everything he pointed out that it would arrive at the end of that year. However, it is possible that E3 is the event in which this surprise is revealed and much more of Forspoken will be shown along with a very specific launch date or window and earlier than expected. At the moment, however, we can only speculate and hope. We will be attentive to bring any news that arises in this regard.
