Final Fantasy XIV beta will be available on PlayStation 5, promises improved resolution and loading screens
Along with PC, Sony platforms have been the most important for the growth of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Thanks to its availability on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, users of these consoles were able to build a link with this MMORPG. This explains why Square Enix has not felt much interest in bringing this installment to Xbox and Nintendo consoles: They have not seen it as necessary. However, if you find it important to stay connected with PlayStation 5 users, this is why the game will soon arrive on the PS5.
The Final Fantasy XIV beta for the PlayStation 5 has been announced alongside its next expansion, Endwalker. When referring to this new version of the title, Square has ensured that it will have much better framerates, load times and 4K resolution. With these improvements, it’s hard not to consider the PS5 version of FF XIV as the most technically advanced. If you have the title on the PS4, you can receive a free upgrade, while those who have not played it before can have access to a free trial.
When the beta ends, the full version will be released.
April 13 is the day the beta will begin. It’s crazy to think that there are people who have had FF XIV on their three recent Sony consoles: PS3, PS4 and PS5. If you want a sign of how successful this MMORPG has been, consider that an entire generation of consoles has been spent in constant growth. The sky is the limit for this popular installment of the franchise, but they may be able to overcome it in their next expansion, as it will feature a trip to the moon.
