Bethesda is counting the days to bring the Doom Eternal game developed by id Software to the Nintendo Switch platform. According to the announcement, the game will be released on December 8. Note that the game was first announced for the Nintendo console in 2018.
Doom Eternal will not come as a cartridge version and will only be a digital version available for purchase via eShop. The size of the game is stated as 18.8 GB. Those who have previously purchased physical versions will be refunded their money.
The Switch version of the game will come with the complete single-player scenario and Battlemode multiplayer mode. Additionally, gyroscopic targeting will also be available in this release as an optional mechanism to make killing demons a little easier.
Note that the recently released The Ancient Gods: Part One DLC will not be on Switch initially, but will be available later.
