An anonymous source has published a video of Gears of War 3 working in a Playstation 3 development kit. The build of the game is from May 29, 2011, months before the game was officially released on Xbox 360. This prototype has a lot of technical data such as performance or fps, also the buttons on the interface are those of the Xbox 360 controller.
The user says that it is an Epic version of Gears of War for PS3 and that it is the only version of this build that is known today. He claims to be the only person with a working build of this version but doesn’t know why it was done. Back in 2010, it was rumored that Epic Games wanted to launch the game on Playstation 3 taking advantage of the end of the exclusivity agreement with Microsoft, but finally, it seems that something prevented it from becoming a reality.
