The largest video game and technology fair in the United States, CES, has finally canceled its edition for 2021, thus following in the footsteps of other large fairs such as Computex or E3. The organization also indicated that it will now work to establish a ” fully digital experience ” working with all of its exhibitors. Until then, the fair, in the form that we all know, will not return until 2022, as long as the global situation of COVID-19 has improved.
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) is reimagining how to connect exhibitors, customers, thought leaders, and the media around the world, prioritizing health and safety. We are pleased to share that CES 2021 will be a fully digital experience.
For more than 50 years, CES has been the global stage for innovation. And CES 2021 will continue to be a platform to launch products, collaborate with global brands, and define the future of the technology industry.
With growing global health concern over the spread of COVID-19, it is not possible to safely convene tens of thousands of people in Las Vegas in early January 2021 to meet and do business in person.
A fully digital CES 2021 will allow the entire technology community to share ideas and introduce the products that will shape our future. You can participate in all CES inspirational moments anywhere in the world. We are designing a unique experience for the technology industry.
We are looking forward to welcoming the global technology industry, from international brands to startups, to kick off the year with the world’s most influential digital technology event.
Mark your calendars for the first week of January and keep an eye out for more exciting news about CES 2021. We plan to return to Las Vegas for CES 2022, combining the best elements of a physical and digital show.
Thank you for your continued support. Please stay safe and sound.
CES 2021 begins on January 6, 2021.
