After making you wait much longer than any other installment in the saga, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War was officially announced last week with the first trailer of this proposal set in the Cold War, if it was not clear from its title. A delivery that will be shown more in-depth with a presentation this week, and of which we now know an important detail for PC users: on computers, the game will be exclusive to Battle.net.
This is not an unexpected decision. Battle.net is Activision Blizzard’s own digital distribution platform, and they had already used it as the exclusive store for the saga on PC for previous installments, such as the latest Call of Duty Modern Warfare of 2019. In an email to the Fans, shared by Charlie Intel, Activision confirms that the new Black Ops Cold War will be exclusive to its store.
They also confirm that this PC version is once again made by Beenox, one of the support studies of the saga that, in recent years, has been responsible for bringing the different installments of the saga to computers. We remind you that, on August 26, the first real look at this new shooter proposal developed by Treyarch together with Raven Software will be offered.
Regarding the presentation, the official account of the Call of Duty saga has already published on the networks the first official art of the game, which many hope is its cover, although there is still much to know about this game set in the Cold War.
