The testing phase of Turtle Rock Studios’ new multiplayer shooter began less than 24 hours ago for all platforms, but access is limited only to those who have pre-ordered the game or obtained a giveaway code.
Despite this limit, the game reached a remarkable peak of 88,403 players connected simultaneously on Steam, according to data from SteamDB . This allowed Back 4 Blood to enter the top 10 of the most played titles on the Valve platform in the last 24 hours. Not bad for a limited access beta. Furthermore, these numbers could grow over the weekend, for obvious reasons.
We remind you that the beta currently in progress will end on Monday 9 August. The next session, on the other hand, will take place between 12 and 16 August and will be open to all. The content available will be the same: two PvE missions, eight-player PvP mode, and five of the eight survivors that will be available at launch.
