Xbox fans are in luck, Bang & Olufsen has announced that it has partnered with Microsoft to offer a “high-end audio offering” on console games. With the launch of the Xbox Series X that will go on sale in late 2020 , the company has teamed up to design a new audio offering to get the most out of Xbox specifically.
Bang & Olufsen tweeted the information, along with a suggestive image. The Danish premium audio brand promises that the collaboration “will create a novel high-end in-game audio system , leveraging Bang & Olufsen’s core sound, design and craftsmanship capabilities. This will include xbox-specific functionality, ensuring perfect connectivity and an improved user experience. “
We want to offer outstanding sound performance
Christoffer Poulsen
The news marks the first time that the company has worked in the video games sector. Vice President and Head of Product Management Christoffer Poulsen said, “By entering this industry, we want to do what we do best: deliver outstanding sound performance wrapped in stunning design and solid craftsmanship .”
For their part, Xbox have been really satisfied: “We believe we have found the ideal partner to carry out this enormous task.” Matt Kesselring, head of hardware at the company, hinted that the product will also be portable: “We will bring to the market a new premium audio level for you to travel with you to all the places where you love to play on Xbox. ”
We remind you that Xbox Series X has already announced that it will avoid overheating while remaining silent and that Unreal Engine 5 will work just as well on it as on the Sony console . Following this line, a Microsoft programmer has assured that the revolutionary PSD SSD will not be such a definitive advantage over Series X.
