Predator’s first paid DLC is now available : Hunting Grounds . But it is not just any content, far from it, since it involves the arrival of Arnold Schwarzenegger himself to the game in his role as ‘Dutch’ in the films of the saga. Starting today, all players in the title who checkout will be able to play one of the biggest stars of action cinema to hunt down the hunter in his games.
Along with the former California Governor, the first Predator: Hunting Grounds DLC also offers early access to two weapons that will hit all players later: the QR5 rifle and Dutch’s knife . “This weaponry has been used by Dutch over the years to hunt down predators,” explains Brett Elston of Illfonic . “The QR5 Hammerhead is a fully automatic assault rifle with a grenade launcher built in under the barrel. The knife, on the other hand, features a customized, modified blade obtained from the glove of a killed Predator.”
In addition to these weapons, those who play as Dutch within the military squad will have access to special game lines . But if that were not enough, from now on all players in Predator: Hunting Grounds will have free access to the Dutch story , narrated by Schwarzenegger himself through recordings in which the character recounts his life throughout his last 38 years. These recordings are not found on the maps, but are unlocked on their own when you rank up.
