Sony had previously stated that 99% of PS4 games will be compatible with the PS5 , but until now we haven’t seen an official list of unsupported games.
This has changed today with an update from the official PlayStation support page, confirming that all PS4 games are compatible with PS5 except 10 titles.
Here are the 10 games that will only be playable on PS4:
- Afro Samurai 2 Revenge of Kuma Volume One
- TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2
- Just Deal With It!
- Shadow Complex Remastered
- Robinson: The Journey
- We sing
- Hitman Go: Definitive Edition
- Joe’s Diner
Some PS4 games will be able to take advantage of Game Boost, a feature that will allow you to “enjoy faster and smoother frame rates on certain PS4 and PSVR games.”
We also know that players will be able to use the DualShock 4 to play PS4 games on the PS5, although the new DualSense controller will be required to play PS5 titles such as the Demon’s Souls remake for PS5 or Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Sony has also confirmed that DualSense will work with PS4 games.
