Some Fortnite players have somewhat controversial methods of leveling up, such as the recent case of the user who wanted to reach level 600 by opening chests and leaving the game. However, when competing, it is important to have a good code of conduct and correctly comply with the rules, something that the professional player Sekosama completely forgot.
Sekosama won the FNCS Invitational with 205 points and was declared the winner of the Asian tournament. However, clips did appear showing that he had been teaming up with another player, something that is not allowed. The player had to return his $ 15,000 prize and received a 14-day penalty.
His strategy was that his partner provided him with health packs and other items, hiding them in strategic places. He also helped Sekosama earn elimination points by letting himself beat.
Epic Games managed to uncover this fraud hours after its victory. Of course, Sekosama denied these allegations. He is accused of having violated section 8.2.2 of the FNCS rule set, which states that players cannot work together to deceive others during the match.
Fortnite prepares for the start of its Season 2 with a countdown by the name of Midas. There is not much information about this event, but we do know that it will begin this Saturday, May 30.
