Halo: The Master Chief Collection includes retouched versions of most Halo installments. Many have wondered if this game can evolve even more and present other options, such as cooperative for 4 players in installments that do not have it. It’s something 343 Industries has also thought about but decided against you.
In a blog post, 343 Industries answered several questions from fans. One of them is whether there is the possibility of adding a 4-player co-op to Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 campaigns.
Given this, 343 Industries pointed out that it is an idea that he “loves”; however, the idea is not a priority. This is because they prefer to dedicate development time to other more important things, such as updating the code of the cooperative or “returning lost content” to older releases.
343 INDUSTRIES TRUSTS THE COMMUNITY
Answering that same question, 343 Industries confessed that they hope the community will make this option available on PC. This thanks to the magic of mods.
In fact, the study highlighted that it hopes that the community of modders will be the ones to keep the game alive once its official support ends. So it is clear that they trust the talent and passion of their fans.
And you, what do you think about it? Would you like to play Halo with 4 player co-op? Tell us in the comments.
