Xiaomi announced the launch of a Mini-PC in China, the Ningmei Rubik Cube Mini, and it does not differ excessively from all the Mini-PCs that we have already seen from other Chinese companies, so it translates into a computer equipped with a CPU Celeron enough for very simple office use, web browsing and multimedia use, don’t look for many more utilities.
In a size where at a size of just 62 x 62 x 42 mm in height and a weight of 145 grams, we have a computer based on an Intel Celeron J4125 processor made up of 4 cores and 4 processing threads (Gemini Lake Refresh) a Base / Turbo frequency of 2.00 / 2.70 GHz with Intel HD Graphics 600 @ 750 MHz accompanied by 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4 @ 2400 MHz RAM and with the possibility of adding a 128GB / 256GB M.2 SSD with speeds of 500MB / s data transfer. The best of all this is that it has a consumption of just 10W of consumption.
In terms of cooling, a small aluminum heatsink is backed by a small fan to keep everything running smoothly.
Despite its compact size, the Xiaomi Ningmei Rubik Cube Mini offers great connectivity in the form of 2x USB 3.0 ports, a 1x USB Type-C that is used for its power (so we can even use it using a Power Bank), we have headphone jack, microSD card reader, an HDMI 1.4 video output and WiFi 802.11ac + Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
To finish, this team comes at a price of 128 euros with only 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, 160 euros (8GB / 256GB) and 173 euros (with Iron Man chassis), prices more expensive than other companies when the chassis has the same dimensions, the same hardware, and the same connectivity.
