A new patent filed by Samsung revealed that the company is working on a new wireless charger. The Samsung wireless charging ring will get its strength from the user’s action. The device also doesn’t use a small emergency battery to charge a person’s phone. Instead, a magnetic disk is used inside, which moves itself when the user’s hand is in motion.
While this movement generates electricity, it turns the small product into a kind of mini generator. In addition to using not only kinetic energy, the device can also transfer heat to generate electricity from the user’s body. Additionally, Samsung plans to keep a small battery in the device to store the generated electricity before charging your smartphones.
Charging your device is another interesting aspect of this patent. After all, the user won’t plug in the device via the USB port. On the contrary, the phone will be charged wirelessly while a person is using their device normally. This means that your finger must be above the wireless charging coils to charge the phone.
It is important to note that the wireless charging ring is currently only at patent stage. So this product may never exist.
