Almost half a year has passed in 2020 and the first half flagships have already been launched on the market.
A few days ago, AnTuTu published the list of the 10 most powerful smartphones that are marketed in China and today the popular benchmark has released the top 10 “global” smartphones sold outside of China.
The data collection period is from May 1 to May 31, and the scores shown are always average values, rather than the highest. For each model, more than 1,000 scores have been analyzed.
In May, the Android smartphone performance ranking is led by the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 8GB / 256G with an overall score of 590,838. With a score of almost 600,000, its performance is excellent.
Second on the list is Redmi K30 Pro 6GB / 128GB, a product of Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand. This model is the best in the Redmi series, with a score of 586,004.
The third smartphone comes from the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus and, in particular, it is the OnePlus 8 Pro 12GB / 256G, with a score of 581,794.

The three previous smartphones have the Snapdragon 865 processor, so their scores do not vary too much. This is understandable because the hardware that most affects the benchmark score is the same.
Those between fourth and tenth place are:
- Xiaomi Mi 10 8GB / 256GB (574,229)
- Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G with Exynos 990 12GB / 128GB (5199.75)
- Samsung Galaxy S20 + 5G with Exynos 990 12GB / 128GB (513,185)
- ROG Phone 2 12GB / 512GB (510,146)
- Samsung Galaxy S20 + with Exynos 990 8GB / 128GB (506,240)
- realme X2 Pro 12GB / 256GB (500,573)
- Samsung S20 5G with Exynos 990 8GB / 128GB (500,503)
If you’re surprised to see the Galaxy S20 models with the Exynos 920 chip instead of the Snapdragon 865 listed above, the reason is simple. This list contains smartphones released globally, outside of China, and the Galaxy S20s in China carry the Qualcomm processor.
Once again, we can see that Chinese manufacturers stand out for the performance of their new smartphones, especially Xiaomi with very powerful hardware configurations. Among the top four, three of them are Xiaomi launched products.
