The new Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be officially unveiled on August 5 along with the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Buds Live, and the Galaxy Watch 3.
In recent days, detailed images of the new smartphones have been leaked and now the full specifications of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra have been leaked, revealing some details that we did not know until now.
According to the images and information published by WinFuture.de, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a 6.9 ″ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with WQHD resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels, 19.3: 9) and refresh rate of 120 Hz. Samsung will provide dynamic control of the refresh rate, modifying it based on user activity to extend battery life.
Apparently, it will be the first smartphone in the world to have Gorilla Glass 7 screen protection.
Another achievement that Samsung will bring to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is its S Pen pointer with ultra-low latency of just 9ms, equal to that of the Apple Pencil. The smartphone will launch with Android 10 and One UI 2.x.
It also features an on-screen fingerprint reader and AKG-tuned stereo speakers. Inside, the phone features the Exynos 990 processor, 12GB of RAM, 256/512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a microSD card slot.
In terms of photography, the triple camera setup features a 108MP (0.8µm) wide-angle camera with Dual Pixel focus, f / 1.8 aperture, and video recording up to 8K @ 30fps.
There’s also a 12MP (1.4µm) ultra-wide-angle camera with f / 2.2 aperture, and the third camera on the back is a 12MP camera with a periscope-type 5x optical zoom lens. Apparently, Samsung says goodbye to the 100x spatial zoom feature with the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The device is reported to arrive with a maximum digital zoom of 50x.
At the front, the smartphone has a 10MP (1.22µm) camera with Dual Pixel focus and f / 2.2 aperture.
Other features of the phone include a Dual SIM card slot and an eSIM. There are also connectivity features like dual-frequency GPS, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port.
Apparently, Samsung has worked closely with Microsoft to bring cloud games to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra through Project xCloud. More than 90 game titles will be available on the next Galaxy Note device via Xbox Game Pass.
The Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra carries a 4,500mAh battery with 45W fast charge, wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, and IP68 certification for dust and water resistance. It will come with the Wireless DeX function that allows you to work with a monitor wirelessly.
