Motorola re-entered the high-end smartphone segment with the launch of Motorola Razr and Motorola Edge Plus this year.
The Motorola Razr is the brand’s first folding smartphone. Now, according to a company executive, Motorola will launch a second foldable Razr device later this year.
The new Motorola Razr has not received very positive reviews due to the hinge slack and noise when opening/closing the phone, its processor is not as powerful as other flagships and it does not have a SIM card compartment (it only supports eSIM). It is not what many expect for a smartphone of € 1,600.
Despite the complicated start with folding smartphones, the company is set to launch the second-generation Motorola Razr in September.
This information comes directly from Thibault Dousson, the CEO of Lenovo South Africa. For those who don’t know, Motorola is owned by Lenovo, which bought it for $ 2.91 billion from Google in 2014.
This particular statement confirms that the company is going to launch a new iteration of Razr in the second half of the year. Unfortunately, he did not share more information about it. Also, this device has not been leaked yet.
