Last year, Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Flip alongside the Galaxy S20 series in the first quarter of the year and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G went official in July. However, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 has yet to be announced.
Now a new leak suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip3 and Galaxy Z Fold3 will debut in the second half of 2021.
According to leak source Ice Universe, Samsung will announce the new Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 in July.
Earlier this week, Ross Young, an expert on the display industry, claimed that Samsung’s new folding devices will debut in June or July.
The Galaxy Z Flip3 is expected to offer users a 6.9 ″ folding screen with 120Hz refresh rate, thinner bezels and a smaller hole, new UTG glass, external display 2-3 times larger, an around 3,900 mAh battery, and better durability. Its chip might not be Qualcomm’s most powerful but a cheaper one.
As for the Galaxy Z Fold3, it will arrive as the company’s first folding smartphone with S-Pen support. It is also rumored to carry an under-screen camera to offer users a full-screen experience.
