Nubia announced its new smartphone gaming, the Red Magic 5G, which ultimately offers a generous panel AMOLED of 6.65 inches with a resolution Full HD + and a refresh rate of 144 Hz and touch sampling of 240 Hz. As your ideal gaming companion, new Touch Triggers with 320 Hz touch sampling are added to be the king of shooters and shoot before anyone else.
Inside we come across the Snapdragon 865 SoC (and not the Snapdragon 865+, they do the consumer a favor not to pay more for a slight overclock) accompanied by up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM with 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. As if that were not enough, all this is powered by a more or less correct 4500 mAh battery, which at least earns many points by having a 55W fast charge.
In terms of cooling, there are not many changes, and this translates into a metal frame with a copper Heatpipe, a small plate or copper foil that acts as a steam chamber, and a small fan of 15,000 RPM inside that greatly reduces temperature by adding a large flow of air to the equation.
As for the photographic section, it is not pretentious. Offers triple rear camera with the main sensor Sony IMX686 of 64 megapixels with ultra-wide-angle and macro 8 + 2 megapixels. Of course, just below the RGB lighting could not be missing or it would not be gaming.
The Red Magic 5S goes on sale in China with a bi-all blue and red or just blue design, at a local price of 460 euros (8GB / 128GB), 535 euros (12GB / 256GB) and 609 euros ( 16GB / 256GB). It will not be until September that it reaches the rest of the global markets. In any variant, we will have access to a second fan that will be coupled to the chassis (like that of the Asus ROG Phone) and will slightly improve the temperature.
