According to Apple’s latest patent application, new MacBook models may be launched with Force Touch feature.
New information about the new MacBook models Apple has been working on for a while continues to come. Today, according to Apple’s patent application to the US Patent and Trademark Office, we see that the Force Touch feature can be introduced to the Touch Bar on MacBook Pro .
As you know, Apple first introduced this technology with Apple Watch. Later, the company started to use this feature more effectively with iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 models, thus allowing users to perform different operations according to the pressure they would apply to the screen.
Apple, now planning to add this feature to the MacBook Pro’s Touch Bar, also aims to eliminate the accidental touch problem that MacBook Pro users complain about.
Besides, it is not known exactly how this feature works. But according to the information provided by Patently Apple, it is stated that the company is working on the touch pressure-sensitive Touch Bar.
Apple is said to have received this patent about 1.5 years ago. In this patent, it is stated that Apple will integrate the Force Touch feature into the Touch Bar on the MacBook thanks to special circuits.
Thus, the Touch Bar will work sensitive to the pressure applied to the touch screen. In this way, the company will allow users to perform different operations according to the pressure applied, and will also eliminate the problem of accidental touch.
