Lenovo announces Legion Slim 7 gaming laptop with AMD Ryzen CPUs

The 15 ” Legion Slim 7 is a premium model within the Legion range and is the first time that an AMD processor has entered the configurations of this range of Lenovo gaming laptops. Specifically, we have AMD Ryzen 4000-H processors along with a GPU that can go up to the RTX 2060 Max-Q Design model compatible with Raytracing.

In fact, we are looking at the lightest RTX equipment on the market. The processor can be chosen to be even a Ryzen 9 4900H. It has Dolby Atmos sound, a fingerprint reader, a TrueStrike backlit keyboard with mechanical touch, and a wider key travel.

The 15.6 ” screen supports resolutions up to 4K with IPS DisplayHDR 400 VESA technology and brightness up to 500 nits with a 60 Hz refresh rate. There is a 144 Hz Full HD option as well. It is less than two centimeters thick (1.79 cm) and weighs less than 2 kg (1.86 kg). To achieve this, the case is made of “aerospace-grade” aluminum and the cooling is provided by Lenovo Coldfront 2.0. The 71 Whr battery allows you to work up to 9.6 hours and has a fast charge.

Memory can be up to 32GB DDR4-3200, with storage drives up to 2TB NVMe PCie SSD. Wi-Fi 6 connection is provided by the Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 module.

The starting price is $ 1,369.99, although the price in euros has not yet been defined in Europe. The most loaded configurations will be quite expensive, although the configuration will be the high-end level. For reference, it will be similar in size to the MacBook Pro 16, with a lower weight and a performance that will be superior in CPU and GPU in view of what the Ryzen Mobile processors offer.
