Apple’s new M1 Macs were praised for performance and battery life. The ARM-based M1 was a start and new chips will arrive in the coming months. On the other hand, we mentioned earlier that Apple gives importance to Mini-LED screen technology. According to a new report, Apple will launch the new iPad Pro and M1 MacBook Pro models with Mini-LED display technology in the first half of 2021.
It looks like LED chip vendor Epistar, backlight panel supplier Zhen Ding Technology, cooling solution provider Auras Technology, and many more partners are ready to collaborate with Apple. If we give a date, the company is said to sell the iPad Pro in the first quarter of 2021 with a Mini-LED display. With the same lighting technology, the MacBook Pro will enter mass production in the second quarter.
The sources also state that Foxconn Technology and Compal Electronics will take over the assembly work for the “iPad Pro”. MacBook Pro products using M1 chipsets will be mostly produced by Quanta Computer and partially by Foxconn.
The tech giant may also be working on 16.1-inch and 14.1-inch models of the MacBook Pro, which benefit from the new technology. As a matter of fact, we expect to learn more in the first months of 2021.
