In addition to the new Latitude laptops, Dell also introduced a curved 40 ″ 5K monitor.
Let’s start with the UltraSharp 40 WUHD (U4021QW), the world’s first 40 ″ ultra-wide curved monitor with 5K resolution (5120 × 2160 pixels) according to Dell . The IPS panel is capable of processing 1.07 billion colors while offering 100% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 coverage.
The port selection on the monitor is equally impressive: Thunderbolt 3 offers transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps and can charge your Windows laptop or MacBook at up to 90W. A 15W charging USB-C port for your phone is also included with the monitor. There’s also an easily accessible full-size USB-A port for removable storage. You can also plug in an Ethernet jack and get a wired connection too.
The monitor can also act as a KVM, so you can connect more than one computer (or computer + phone) to the monitor and use the same keyboard and mouse for both.
You can get Dell UltraSharp 24 and 27 USB-C Hub Monitors (U2422HE / U2722DE) for multi-monitor setups. They provide 90W output over USB-C, which means they can power highly powerful laptops and also have Ethernet ports.
The pandemic has increased the popularity of video conferencing. The next three monitors are in sizes 24 ”, 27” and 34 ”and are designed with this particular subject in mind. It has 5 MP pop-up cameras, noise-canceling microphones and dual 5W speakers. A dedicated Microsoft Teams button allows you to quickly join a meeting. The monitors also support Windows Hello login and the Cortana digital assistant.
If you meet in person, check out the Dell 4K interactive touch monitors that are available in sizes 55 ”and 65”. They can detect 20 contact points so they can be used by multiple people at the same time (palm rejection available to prevent accidental touches). Dual 20W speakers are also offered internally.
Finally, a few accessories: The rechargeable wireless mouse (MS7421W) can last up to 6 months on a single charge. The wireless keyboard and mouse combination (KM7321W) has an incredible 36-month battery life.
