In 2021 MacBook Pro models, we can see an SD card entry for the first time in years.
New MacBook Pro models with 14.1-inch and 16-inch screen sizes are expected by Apple in the second quarter of this year. It is said that MagSafe and some other connections will also return in future models with the renewed design, mini LED display, and ARM-based Apple Silicon processor. In addition, the claims are that 2021 MacBook Pro models will also have an SD card slot.
Let us remind you that the SD card reader is not included in the MacBook Pro series since 2016. Instead, users were only offered Thunderbolt 3 ports and had to carry more accessories.
It is also rumored that the next Apple processor will be 12 cores. This means that it will be more powerful than the 5 nm 8-core M1 chip. More performance is something creative professionals will look forward to, while adding an SD card slot will add to that.
We can expect to see USB 4 ports on new models as well. It is said that Apple will also release the Touch Bar to reduce production costs and make MacBook Pro models more attractive in terms of price.
