Everyone knows the secrecy with which they like to take their productions to Disney and Lucasfilm, especially if they have to do with millionaire sagas that have fans all over the world, what was not known is that to keep the secret they even deceive the people who appear in them.
This was revealed by Katee Sackhoff, who played Bo-Katan in the second season of The Mandalorian, who explained that at first, the entire cast was told that the Jedi who was going to save everyone in the last chapter was going to be Plo Koon, instead of who he ended up being, to everyone’s surprise.
“Did you know that we thought it was going to be him? … We thought it was going to be Plo Koon, because we were told it was going to be him, and I believed it because I’m very naive,” the actress confessed with a laugh in a charity encounter with Star Wars Explained, where she herself admitted that it did not seem very likely that Plo Koon would survive his death in the saga.
For those who do not know this Jedi, Plo Koon first appears in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and later is one of the Jedi of Order 66 killed by the androids. However, this character was recovered for The Clone Wars series where he became a mentor for another well-known Jedi, Ahsoka Tano. Although he is an admired general and a great Jedi, it seems unlikely that he could have survived his own death.
