A fourth Jumanji movie is on the way. It is confirmed that it is in the early stages of production and that we will have more news in the future.
When it was announced in the mid-2010s that a Jumanji sequel would hit theaters, many fans of the cult classic starring Robin Williams took their heads. However, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle scored hugely at the box office, in part thanks to its stellar cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black and Kevin Hart . The third film, Jumanji: The Next Level, would arrive in late 2019 with new additions and wild mysteries.
After just over a year of silence in the franchise, we now know that a fourth Jumanji film is on the way, the third in the “age of the Rock” in which Dwayne Johnson and his companions will return to the bill.
In an interview with Comicbook , Hiram García , president of Seven Bucks Productions , the production company of Dwayne Johnson, has confirmed that Jumanji 4 has entered the early stages of production and that “there are great ideas to shape the film.”
The ability to adapt the franchise from the Jumanji board game to video game form was the key to revitalizing the film saga. The world of Jumanji got much wilder when the protagonists ended up trapped in it. Now we can see part of what Alan Parrish felt when he was trapped on the board waiting for someone to roll a 5 or an 8. We do not know what surprises the fourth installment of Jumanji will bring us, but we will be attentive to the news.
What do you think that Jumanji 4 is already in its early stages of development?
