Henry Cavill dons Geralt of Rivia’s armor again on the set of The Witcher after overcoming a leg injury he sustained a few weeks ago.
A few weeks ago we heard the news that Henry Cavill had suffered a leg injury during the filming of season 2 of The Witcher. The actor would have to rest for some time, which luckily coincided with the Christmas season and the break that the team was going to take to be with the family. Filming should have returned a little earlier, but it seems that Henry Cavill was expected to be at one hundred percent to be able to face the final stretch of filming.
According to Redanian Intelligence, Henry Cavill is already back on the set of The Witcher filming prepared to film the remainder of the season, whose recording will last until March 2021, something that could slightly delay the premiere date of the series in Netflix.
The production of season 2 of The Witcher has suffered numerous setbacks. The arrival of the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic caused a six-month shutdown in production. Then there was another stop when some cases of COVID appeared among the team.
We hope that the remaining works of Season 2 of The Witcher can go smoothly. Actor Paul Bullion has confirmed that he is also on the set of the Netflix series to re-become Lambert. The Witcher adapts the novels of the same name by Andrzej Sapkowski that follow the adventures of the monster hunter sorcerer Geralt of Rivia through the world known as the Continent, a hostile world full of conspiracies, dark magic and threats everywhere.
When do you expect The Witcher season 2 to arrive?
