Of the video game adaptations to movies that are on the way, one of the most talked-about is Borderlands due to the large amount of details that are coming to light. Thanks to them we already know who will play various main characters and today one more celebrity has just been confirmed to join the project.
As time goes on, more actors are joining the Borderlands movie. Today Eli Roth revealed that you already have the actress who will play Tiny Tina, a character who debuted in Borderlands 2 and who is an expert in explosives. The role will be in charge of actress Ariana Greenblatt, a 13-year-old American actress.
“Guess who is the deadliest 13-year-old girl in the whole world? Very excited to be part of this crazy adventure … she [Tiny Tina] is special, “said the young actress after the news was made official, referring to how the character is known in Borderlands 2. Interestingly, having been born on August 27, 2007, Ariana Greenblatt is the same age as Tiny Tina in the game.
ARIANA GREENBLATT ALREADY HAS A LOT OF ACTING EXPERIENCE
Despite her young age, Ariana Greenblatt already has a relevant acting history. The young actress has participated in television and film productions, such as the Disney Channel series Liv & Maddie , Stuck in the Middle and the Marvel film Avengers: Infinity War , in which she played a child version of Gamora.
“Ariana is a spectacular new talent in the cinema. She has worked with many of my close associates and they all speak highly of her. She blew us away at her audition, and I can’t wait to see her bring the wild, crazy, and unpredictable Tiny Tina to the big screen. She will explode the screen like a Tina grenade, “commented director Eli Roth (via Variety ).
